About

Sex @ Work focuses on how relational, creative, and somatic intelligence actually drives your professional life. And how acknowledging it makes your work more ethical, powerful, and human. In the time of AI and in the time of now.

Selected Theses

The conscious, professional self has a narrow operating margin. The more of the unconscious one is aware of, the wider their operating margin becomes and the richer the contribution to the culture.

Ignoring the breadth of our unconscious perpetuates burnout, disengagement, confusion, and disassociation. Including it facilitates clarity, potency, ethical leadership, and the emergence of new potentialities.

The mission of Sex @ Work is joining. It highlights the body’s role in professional and personal interactions, revealing how relational intelligence, somatic cues, and embodied presence shape clarity, trust, collaboration, and leadership effectiveness far more than strategy or skill.

Instead of treating work as a purely cognitive domain, Sex at Work shows that people are always working through their bodies; through sensation, attention, desire, threat response, and connection. When leaders and teams understand these dynamics, they communicate more clearly, collaborate more effectively, and build cultures that are more attuned, ethical, and genuinely high‑functioning.

Designed as a field of orientation, rather than a linear book, Sex at Work offers modular entry points; diagrams, micro‑frameworks, narrative studies, and index card-sized conceptual frameworks that give readers immediate clarity without requiring sequential reading or completion. It is a practical, accessible guide to the human side of work: the part that determines whether people shut down, come alive, or create something extraordinary together.

Sex at Work positions embodied intelligence as a core professional competency, giving leaders and teams a shared language for the subtle forces that shape performance, culture, and connection.

What Sex @ Work Does

  • Reframes Sex

as the full spectrum of human relational energy for joining and creating; not a physical act.

  • Reveals Dynamics

that quietly govern teams, leadership, creativity, and conflict.

  • Highlights Desire

as a directional intelligence in your work, life, and leadership.

  • Reorients Leadership

as primarily a somatic experience and responsibility.

  • Offers Ideas

for becoming available to your body of work; the deeper cultural contribution your life is trying to make.

  • Uncovers Distortion

over‑performance, collapse, projection, charisma misuse, and boundary confusion.

  • Honors Contribution

as role, market, and tech/governance disruption-independent; inherent in all forms of relating and creating.

  • Sees Innocence

in the messiness of humanity; the pain and pleasure involved in our attempts to join with one another.
